Departure
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival in Tanzania, a friendly Lion King representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Take this time to rest, relax, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your personal safari guide will collect you from your lodge. The drive to Tarangire takes you across scenic Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds and ancient baobabs. Game viewing here includes zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and possibly lions or leopards.
Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Today, you'll travel through the fertile highlands of the Iraqw people and the misty forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Midday, you'll enter the vast Serengeti National Park—home to one of the world's most iconic ecosystems. After a scenic game drive through the plains, settle into your accommodation in the Seronera Valley.
Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
Spend the full day exploring Serengeti's diverse landscapes and following the rhythm of the wildlife. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration—a breathtaking movement of zebras, wildebeest, and antelope in search of greener pastures.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders. Descend into this massive volcanic caldera, home to over 25,000 animals including the famed Big Five.
Day 6: Lake Manyara to Zanzibar (Stone Town)
Your final game drive takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its flamingos, baboons, and tree-climbing lions. After exploring the area's varied habitats, return to Arusha in the afternoon for your flight to Zanzibar.
Days 7–10: Zanzibar North Coast (Nungwi)
Relax and unwind for four days in the beach paradise of Nungwi. Enjoy optional activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving around Mnemba Atoll, fishing, yoga, or village tours. Swimming here is excellent all day due to unique tidal conditions.
Day 11: Departure from Zanzibar
Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel before being transferred to the airport or seaport, depending on your departure schedule.
