Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Days in Africa Safaris Tours will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Settle in, relax, and prepare for the incredible adventure that lies ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park Safari
After breakfast, journey towards Tarangire National Park, traveling across rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Tarangire is famous for its vast herds of elephants and rich wildlife diversity. Search for zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, and possibly lion or leopard from our open-roof safari vehicle.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Experience
Travel to the lush highlands of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the 600-meter-deep caldera—an ecological paradise and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to over 25,000 animals including the Big Five, Ngorongoro offers breathtaking game viewing.
Day 4: Lake Manyara & Flight to Zanzibar
Visit Lake Manyara National Park, a diverse reserve beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The shallow alkaline lake draws thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. After game drive and lunch, return to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar's historic Stone Town.
Days 5–7: Nungwi Beach Escape
Transfer to Nungwi, a vibrant village on Zanzibar's northern coast with white sand and turquoise waters. Spend your days relaxing, swimming, exploring, or enjoying water activities in this tropical paradise where both sunrises and sunsets are visible from shore.
Day 8: Farewell & Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel before transferring to the airport or seaport. As your journey concludes, you leave with unforgettable memories of Tanzania's wildlife, landscapes, and cultural charm.
